FlowMSP is pleased to announce Memphis Fire Department’s adoption of its software program to enhance pre-incident planning and fire operations.
The City of Memphis, TN’s fire department will use FlowMSP’s hazardous structure identification reports, pre-planning process, and incident response tools, to provide operations personnel with today’s most relevant technology for effective fire operations.
“Memphis Fire Department demonstrates strong leadership in the fire service by embracing modern technology to improve fire operations. By equipping operations personnel with this vital information, the City of Memphis ensures the best possible outcomes for the fire department in service to its citizens.”
Jason Marvel, Founder and CEO of FlowMSP
First, using FlowMSP’s High Hazard Locations report, Memphis Fire Department will identify the most hazardous buildings in their response area. Then, they will focus department resources on creating digital pre-incident plans for the most dangerous buildings first, flagging high hazard locations.
Finally, responders will access the plans instantly during response. Data immediately available during response will include high hazard building and location information, risk assessment scores, hydrant data, required flow rates, images, annotations and more.
By providing rich pre-planning data within the dispatch screen, the FlowMSP solution streamlines the flow of crucial information as firefighters respond to incidents. With this technology, Memphis Fire Department gains greater ability to plan response tactics while en route, arriving at each incident location with a strategy in place.
FlowMSP appreciates the opportunity to aid Memphis Fire in fulfilling their commitment to leadership, compassion and immediate community protection. Together the agencies will pursue excellence in the fire service, leveraging modern technology to impact key outcomes on the fireground.
